Lovely Lola is an unbelievably 17 years old and is such a golden girl. Dogs Trust Merseyside are helping her to find the new home she truly deserves to enjoy for the rest of her life.

Lola is a Staffordshire Bull Terrier and she’s a very easy-going lady who loves to sunbathe out in the garden. She still enjoys short walks, though she can’t do stairs. She’s going to be the ideal companion for someone who just wants company, and Lola will make it very clear when she wants your attention.

Lola will walk with quiet dogs but enjoys her own space, so will happily be the only dog at home. Given that she would like a quiet retirement, any children around should be of a higher secondary school age. She is house-trained and sleeps a lot.

Lola is in great health considering her age. She is a little deaf and does have some arthritis in her back legs. Lola can be vocal when at home, something not uncommon in dogs who are losing their hearing, so you must be prepared for the occasional noisy moment.
