————

Buddy is an adorable 10-year-old Staffordshire Bull Terrier Cross who is with Dogs Trust Merseyside.

Dogs Trust challenge you to find a more angelic face than Buddy’s! Lovely Buddy has had quite the life, having lived on the streets for 8 years with his owner. Not much fazes him, but he’s a little hard of hearing these days. He loves to play with toys, especially tennis balls, and will happily trade them for something else.

Buddy still enjoys going for a potter. He likes to say hello to everyone when he’s out and is a very friendly chap indeed. He has some muscle wastage in his legs so can’t manage long walks, but regular exercise will still need to be part of his daily routine. Buddy is showing some mild signs of dementia, and occasionally gets a little confused, but he has also been through some big changes in recent weeks which can’t have been easy for him.

When it comes to other dogs, Buddy will happily walk alongside quiet ones but he does try and push his luck with the ladies! He’s more suited to being the only dog at home, and this is what he has been used to. Buddy is housetrained but may have a accident or two while he adjusts, so please be patient with him. He can live with children aged 10 and over, and is going to make a wonderful companion for someone.

Could you offer Buddy his ideal home?
