18/9/2022 Handsome Chance has found his new home.

Handsome Chance is such a loveable boy who originally came from Romania and found a wonderful home through Rescue Me Animal Sanctuary. Unfortunately, his owner has recently passed away and he’s found himself back in their care in Liverpool.
Chance is 9 years old and just loves cuddles; he will happily stop and drop onto the floor once the hugs and fuss arrive. He is perfect in his foster home where he can be left for 4 – 5 hours with no problems. He enjoys going for walks (especially when choosing his own direction!) and can easily manage 40 minutes before he starts to get tired (although in Chance’s head, he is still a puppy!).
Chance shows little interest in toys but is very food orientated, preferring loaf-based meat with his biscuits. He also travels well in the car. Chance gets on well with dogs and has lived with dogs before, so would be fine to live with another calm dog. He shows interest in cats with a happy tail, but it’s unsure how strong his chase reaction would be.
Chance may appear a little bit shy when he first meets you, but it doesn’t take him long to warm to new friends and is always pleased to greet his loved ones with some vocalisation and a happy tail. Chance is neutered and he does have arthritis but this is easily managed and quite common for a dog of his age.
