Dear Dora was lucky to have been rescued from a killing shelter in Romania and happily lived with her Dad in the U.K. for over 6 years. Unfortunately, due to eviction, he can no longer keep Dora and she’s now being cared for in Nuneaton, Warwickshire by Forgotten Souls Rescue. They will consider a long-term foster home within an hour’s driving distance of Coventry, or a forever home around 3 hours away for lovely Dora.

Dora is a calm, gentle, older lady. She is around 14 years old and she is a Crossbreed. She enjoys a potter in a secure garden more than walks, but she will go on a short walk if needed. She likes to lie at your feet for a little fuss after tea and then fall asleep next to you.

Dora rarely barks and is super calm. She makes a cute wining noise when she wants her tea. She can also be left for a while if you nip out and will just sleep; she’s non-destructive. She has not been living with other dogs but could possibly live with a calm, older dog. Dora also travels okay.

Dora is spayed and her eyes are a little blurry now so a quiet home without fast movements would suit her, but she does get around okay. If the potential fosterer/adopter is able to drive to Coventry, the Rescue will cover the vet costs if she needs treatment. She may have age-related ailments, but nothing to report from the vets at the moment; she is a hardy girl.
