12-year-old Buffy is described as an absolute dream, and so funny and loving. Dogs Trust Merseyside don’t understand why someone hasn’t snapped her up.

Buffy is a small to medium brindle crossbreed with a cheeky streak! She is looking for a home where she will be your only pet, and where any children are over the age of 10. She is housetrained and once settled could be left for 2 or 3 hours. Buffy will need a very secure home as she is something of an escape artist.

Buffy is a sociable gal who loves to be around people, very much enjoying human interaction and affection. She is calm around dogs outside of the home, but she can be overwhelmed by some, so that’s why she wants to be your only pet.

Poor Buffy hates being in kennels and this can make her hide away from visitors. If she knew they were visiting to potentially offer her a lovely home, she might try to be braver, but she obviously doesn’t know who these strange people are! Lovely Buffy has been seeking lots of fuss and reassurance from her carers.

Intrepid Buffy has a love for adventure, which has landed her in trouble more than a few times when she escaped out of the house. She has been known to escape out of open doors, and even open windows, so she needs her new family to be conscious of this and ensure that the house is well Buffy-proofed! She is able to jump fences so her new garden will need high and secure fences, and she should always be supervised in the garden.

Gorgeous Buffy is a smart cookie and has good basic training and even knows a few fancy tricks too, so she won’t need much in the way of training. She just needs to be allowed time and patience to settle in, and someone to snuggle up with on the sofa of course.

Could you offer Buffy a secure home and lots of love?
