Dana came to Safe Rescue recently from the Botosani public shelter in Romania where she had been for several years. She is now settling into a foster home in Norwich, Norfolk, and hopes to find a loving home soon.

Dana is a medium-sized Crossbreed aged around 7 years old. She is a fabulous character, but she can be determined and stubborn when she wants. She is also loyal and devoted in her relationships once time has been invested in her.

Dana is initially cautious of new people but soon warms to those who feed her. She is still not completely convinced that there’s any benefit to being stroked, but she will allow it and will learn to appreciate it in time.

Dana will need another dog in her forever home. She forms strong bonds and will ”sing” when left at home if she doesn’t have a companion. She could live with respectful children aged 10 plus.

Safe Rescue have a policy that all dogs adopted from them must wear a slip lead on walks. Please only enquire about Safe Rescue dogs if you are happy to always use a slip lead – extendable leads are not acceptable to Safe Rescue. All dogs have to be collected and a crate must be used. Full details of their rehoming policy are on Dana’s details on Safe Rescue’s Facebook.
