3/4/2023 Gorgeous Ellie and Impey have found their new home.

Adorable Ellie and Impey (male) are a pair of Dachshunds who originally came from South Africa with their previous owners. Sadly, they must leave their current home and owners very soon and will be coming into the care of Animal Rescue and Care until they find their new home
Ellie and Impey will be 10 years old in June (born 3.6.2013). They are utterly adorable and still enjoy long walks, sunbathing and snuggling. They are extremely lovable and energetic. They love going for walks and get super excited the moment they see their leads and harnesses, or if they see you getting your walking shoes on.
Ellie and Impey also absolutely love cuddles. They will sit on your lap and not move as long as you don’t move, and give you a very disapproving look when you do. When the sun is shining they will lie in the sun and absorb the rays. When the weather is cold, they will happily cuddle under blankets. Ellie and Impey do well with older children, but so far they have always lived in a child-free home so children over 14 years would be fine. They are not used to living with cats.
Ellie has no medical issues and Impey is blind so needs a little extra TLC, but he is still loving life. He has hurt his back twice. On both occasions, he has just needed about six weeks of being in a crate and slowly reintroduced to exercise again. They are both up to date with their vaccinations, are neutered and are chipped.
