18/5/19 – Donny has a happy life ahead in his new home!

Dear Donny is looking for a calm, quiet, empathetic home where he can have countryside walks; he likes his walks and will then chill out. Before being rescued by Leash of Life, Donny spent most of his life on a chain and was one of a hoarder’s dogs.

Donny was quite overwhelmed when he arrived in his foster home in Chard, Somerset, but he has now settled nicely and is his carer’s shadow. His passport puts him as 13 years old, though his carer says he behaves like a 3 year old but would actually place him at around 8. He is a small to medium size, black Crossbreed.

Donny is a friendly little chap who is good on-lead. He gets on with other dogs but could probably live happily as an only dog. He is good with cats and fine around children although he hasn’t met many.

Donny is now ready to look for his forever home and, although he has done amazingly well, he would best be suited to a calm home given his traumatic past. Donny is neutered and has no known medical conditions.
