Friendly and lovely Lara is looking for her forever home where she can rest her tired bones. She’s now happily living in a foster home in Colne Engaine, Essex, provided by Nirina Dog Adoptions. After a life of ups and downs, Lara now dreams of something simple: a peaceful home and people who will love her.
Lara is approximately 9 years old and weighs around 18kg. She has a calm soul and a heart full of love. She is a true lady who is gentle, kind and grateful for every bit of attention she receives.
Lara is a sweet and friendly girl who would really enjoy a home where she can get all the love. She gets on well with people and children though older children are preferred. She’s not very good with cats.
As an older dog, Lara doesn’t need much, just soft walks, warm naps and a human by her side. In return, she offers endless loyalty, quiet companionship and a love that only a senior dog can give. She enjoys calm environments where she can feel safe. She’s clean in the home and settles down well.
Lara’s ideal home would be with people who are around a lot to give her lots of love. She would enjoy having a nice garden to lounge around in on warmer days and also access to nice walks at her pace. She is good on the lead.
Lara has a bit of arthritis for which she is not on medication currently but may need some pain relief in the future.
