Meet Rufus, a gorgeous snow white German Shepherd lad who is a long-term resident of Vigil GSD Rescue. He is 11 years old now and struggling with his back legs and Vigil just want to see him settled in a loving home for the rest of his days.
Rufus isn’t asking for much – just a garden where he can potter about, a comfy bed and a place where he can lie in the sunshine and dream. He is a gentle, loving boy who is very easy going.
Because of his laid back nature and calm personality, Rufus would make a wonderful companion to an elderly person. He doesn’t need much exercise and is very easy to have around. He will reward your love and care with utmost loyalty and affection. He is a happy boy who just wants to enjoy some home comforts and human companionship. He gets along with other dogs, but would do best in a home with another calm dog like himself.
