26/10/2017 Soft and lovely Sandy has gone to her new home.

This lovely lady is called Sandy and she’s looking for a cosy home with the help of Leicester Animal Aid.
Sandy is a 12 year old Lurcher and appropriately named with a soft, sandy coat. She is sweet natured with a lot of love to give and she has slotted in well at the Centre. She is always humming away to herself, enjoying cuddles and massages from the staff.
Sandy finds being spoken to in a ’silly’ tone quite endearing and reminds her of her youth when she loved being active. Don’t be fooled though, there is still life left in this old girl, but she is ready now to settle down and find that owner who immediately picks her out and says “you’re the one that I want!”.
Sandy is a real chatter box when she gets going and does love a good pamper and has started to have lie ins! Once you find that perfect soft bed it is hard to get out of it.
Sandy would be quite happy sharing life and her bed with that special one on those cold nights when those ‘chills are multiplying’, or she wouldn’t mind some older, teenage children whom she could snuggle up to.
