7/4/09 Very sad news about Tia. She was on the table being spayed and having her mammary lumps stripped and was found to be riddled with secondary tumours. The vet could promise her no quality of life and so she wasn’t brought out of the anaesthetic. Rest in peace darling.

This frightened looking lady is Tia and she was handed over to the Ark by the local Dog Warden.
Tia is a German Shepherd Cross aged about 8-9 years. She’s quite nervous and confused at the moment, but she seems a friendly girl. Her cat, dog and child status isn’t yet known, but the Ark will update us in due course.
Tia is currently in season and also has some mammary lumps, so she’s booked in for a check up with the vet. She cannot be rehomed until she has the all-clear from the vet, but the Ark would welcome any early enquiries.
