This gentleman is Archie, an 8 year old domestic short hair. He is in the care of the Blue Cross at Burford and is hoping that someone give him a new home where he can build his confidence and enjoy life.
He’s a real gentle giant who loves loads of fuss and tummy rubs. He has never really met new people before and is a little shy to begin with. Once you gain his confidence (chin scratches are a good way to break the ice) he shows his true personality and is a real softie.
Because of his reserved nature, Archie would be best in a quiet home with maybe older children and could live with another calm cat. He needs owners who will be at home for most of the day to give him loads of love and attention and help him to gain confidence. In the right home, Archie will flourish and become a devoted and loving pet.
