Chester has sadly died awaiting a home – he had a heart attack. Sleep tight Chester.

——————-

Chester is a beautiful Dalmatian boy who is being rehomed through Pro Dogs Direct because his owners are moving abroad and cannot take him with them. He is 10 years old.

Chester had been abused when he was younger, but has spent his last 6 years in a loving home. He is now a fun loving dog who is very kind and sweet natured. However, his new owners will need to be aware of his past and the scars it has left. He will need a firm, yet understanding, owner.

Chester has been known to nip (not bite) when he is frightened. Although he loves people, he is wary of other dogs while out walking on his lead.

Chester enjoys big long strokes and gentle rubs and will show his affection by licking your feet!

Like all Dalmatians, Chester is cheeky and will eat anything, but he especially loves butter or bread and will help himself if you leave it on the counter.

Chester could live in a home with children over the age of 12. He will need a home where someone is around for most of the day who can give him the love and companionship he desperately needs. He cannot live with cats or other dogs.

He is housetrained, microchipped and is an excellent guard dog.
