Poor Connie became ill and was found to have cancer. She has had to be put to sleep. Rest in peace, pretty Connie.

—————

How gorgeous is pretty Connie? Wow! She’s a 9 year old Lurcher lady who needs to find a new home as her owner travels a lot and poor Connie ends up spending most of the day in the van. Her owner feels that it’s time for Connie to retire to a comfy sofa or duvet instead. Connie is being rehomed by her owner and is in West Yorkshire.

Connie is easy to care for as she is happy with one walk a day and then just wants to spend the rest of her time snoozing. However she does get lively when she is excited, and she loves to be fussed.

She is good with other dogs and would be fine to live with a compatible companion, but she needs a cat-free, small-furry-free home as she used to be a working dog. She could live with older children but she does jump up so might knock a little one over.

She has a lump on one of her teats but this has been there for at least 2 years and hasn’t changed in size.

If you are interested in offering Connie a new home, please contact her owner, Ann, as follows:

Please mention that you saw Connie on the Oldies Club website.

Prospective adopters will be homechecked by Ann or an Oldies Club volunteer. Ann has confirmed that she would take Connie back if the rehoming didn’t work out for any reason.
