—————–

Sandy is a lovely looking dog who is greatly admired by everyone she meets. She is a 4 year old, red, medium-sized Staffordshire Bull Terrier girl (born May 2007), who is being rehomed by Guildford & District Staffordshire Bull Terrier Rescue. She is looking for a special home as she was originally kept shut in a flat and not walked.

Sandy sadly has been with the rescue for 11 months without any interest. She has been fully assessed and attended a five-week foundation training course. She is not food orientated, but responds to toys. She has also been to agility classes where she is very bold.

Sandy is a high energy lady with a slightly obsessive nature who would be best suited to a quiet home where she is the only dog, preferably on a one-to-one basis or with a couple, where she is the main focus. She would benefit from a medium/large garden where she could play with a ball or toy.

She is good on the lead and needs a chance to have a daily off-lead run. Her recall is good, but she does go some distance away so would need access to a safe area away from roads or railway lines. She shows no aggression when meeting other dogs but is “silly” when meeting dogs or people, jumping up and squirming around. With a regular routine, she would improve. She’s also good in the car.

Sandy requires an understanding, cat-free home with someone who is willing to invest some time and effort as she is a lovely dog who deserves a bright future and a home of her own.

Sandy is vaccinated and spayed and has no medical needs.
