Oscar (Freshfields Animal Rescue, Liverpool)

Oscar has been affected by events in the past which have left him very nervous. He has a special bond with one man at Freshfields which gives hope that he could replicate this bond with a new owner. Oscar needs a child-free home with a gentle, confident owner who is home most of the day.

Alfie & Rocky (Ark Animal Rescue, Lincolnshire coast)

Alfie & Rocky are the best of friends and need a home together. Before you rush to contact the Ark, ask yourself if you could happily and kindly deal with toileting accidents as little Rocky has a health issue leading to poor bladder control, and Alfie also has accidents. They are wonderful, friendly dogs.

Thor (Cheltenham Animal Shelter, Gloucestershire)

If you want a doting companion who’s easy on the eye and doesn’t need long walks, than look no further. Thor needs a relaxing retirement without having to deal with other pets, children or much in the way of comings and goings. He’s a home-body and a soppy-head!

Jay (RSPCA Macclesfield, SE Cheshire & Buxton)

Little Jay has been loved and cared for, but is hairless due to health issues and allergies. He needs a caring, committed owner who is around all day. He needs to be your only pet. Jay needs a home with hard flooring as carpets are a problem for his allergies.

Noodles (Freshfields Animal Rescue, Liverpool)

8/10/2020 So sadly, cuddly Noodles was found to have a lump in his throat 4 weeks ago which the vet suspected cancer and after x-rays discovered it had already spread to his lungs. His health rapidly deteriorated and he’s now resting in a happy place.

Jazzy (Safe Rescue, fostered Norfolk)

14/3/2019 Such sad news that lovely Jazzy has passed away.
Jazzy is a lovely Collie girl looking for a relaxing retirement home. She likes to snuggle and to snooze! She’s good with other dogs and could live with some, or as an only dog. She’s good with children too. All humans being fair game for fuss!

Sam (RSPCA Bryn-y-Maen, fostered North Wales)

12/7/18 – We are delighted to hear the following news from RSPCA Bryn-y-Maen: “Sam being featured on the OC website generated some great interest in him and he has already selected his new home and moved in! All the team at Bryn y Maen and Sam’s wonderful fosterers are absolutely delighted for him. He is settling in very well indeed, taking everything in his stride and is already much loved by his new family who have made him so welcome. He can now celebrate his 18th birthday at home!” How fabulous is that?!
