Bradley (Rovers Dog Rescue, fostered Essex)

As with many small, cute oldies Bradley can be a strong willed, set-in-his-ways curmudgeon at times. This doesn’t detract from him being a doting companion at all. He is adorable and very sociable with other dogs. He just knows his own mind and so needs an owner who knows theirs!

Sabby (Foal Farm, Kent)

Sabby is a beautiful Newfoundland needing very special, patient people. You must be local to Foal Farm to visit her lots and lots as she takes time to get to know you. There must be no children – not even visiting ones – at your home. Sabby is fun-loving and loyal once she trusts you.

Scott (Safe Rescue, fostered Essex)

Lovely, soft-natured Scott is a timid boy who needs a human or two who will help him overcome his fears at his own pace. He needs to live with another dog and is fine with cats. He’s had a tough time but he’s now ready to consider the possibility that life could be nice.

Bella (Freshfields Animal Rescue, Liverpool)

Attention all Frenchie-lovers, Bella is available for your adoration! This little lady is as characterful as she looks. She’s very affectionate with those she loves. Treats are the way to her heart. She wants an adult-only home which she could share with another dog. She’s just a little bit cute!

Patrick & PJ (Pro Dogs Direct, fostered Hampshire)

Patrick and PJ need a quiet, carpeted home with patient owners. Due to disc disease they have mobility issues and some incontinence (mainly faecal), so you will need to be unfazed by this, and follow diet guidelines. A nice garden with few steps is vital.

Sheba & Shiloh (Suki’s Canine Rescue Crew, West Midlands)

This spectacularly gorgeous brother and sister pair are looking for a forever foster placement. They are laid back, gentle, quiet and everything else you could wish for in a couple of well mannered Huskies. They like fuss and being brushed and they enjoy walkies! Do you have a peaceful home and a big heart?

Noodles (Freshfields Animal Rescue, Liverpool)

8/10/2020 So sadly, cuddly Noodles was found to have a lump in his throat 4 weeks ago which the vet suspected cancer and after x-rays discovered it had already spread to his lungs. His health rapidly deteriorated and he’s now resting in a happy place.

Opie (Cheltenham Animal Shelter, Gloucestershire)

06/11/2020 – Opie has been reserved! Good luck lovely boy!
Opie is a soppy, goofy boy whose main hobby is making people laugh with his silly antics. He wants to be the only pet in an adult only home, with owners who are understanding of his nervousness of strangers. He doesn’t need much exercise. Just lots of love and fun!

Jazzy (Safe Rescue, fostered Norfolk)

14/3/2019 Such sad news that lovely Jazzy has passed away.
Jazzy is a lovely Collie girl looking for a relaxing retirement home. She likes to snuggle and to snooze! She’s good with other dogs and could live with some, or as an only dog. She’s good with children too. All humans being fair game for fuss!

Sam (RSPCA Bryn-y-Maen, fostered North Wales)

12/7/18 – We are delighted to hear the following news from RSPCA Bryn-y-Maen: “Sam being featured on the OC website generated some great interest in him and he has already selected his new home and moved in! All the team at Bryn y Maen and Sam’s wonderful fosterers are absolutely delighted for him. He is settling in very well indeed, taking everything in his stride and is already much loved by his new family who have made him so welcome. He can now celebrate his 18th birthday at home!” How fabulous is that?!
