Ricky is the sweetest little chap, currently being fostered in Swanley, Kent through Rescued European Animals In Need He is a 7yr old, 10kg, small cross breed boy that originated from a shelter in Romania. He has clearly endeared himself to his foster Mummy who cannot speak highly enough of him.
He is blind, although to what extent is unknown, but he doesn’t let this impact upon his enjoyment of life. He is enthusiastic, curious and confident and settled quickly into home life.
Being clean from the start, mixing well with other resident doggies, both male and female, and another deaf dog.
Ricky could live with another dog or be an only dog where he could get lots of cuddles, attention and mental stimulation.
He loves a little snooze and has shown no malice towards cats when he seeks them out, so it is thought Ricky may be able to live alongside a dog savvy feline friend, but this can be discussed further with R.E.A.N. He is responsive to verbal direction and is quick to learn. He has not yet been tested with children, but because of his gentle nature, it is felt that he could live with respectful children over 12yrs.
Settling down nicely when left alone, Ricky is happy to be on his own for short periods. Not being able to see doesn’t seem to faze Ricky. He has learnt to navigate the stairs quickly and is proving himself to be the most adorable little chap, loving nothing more than burrowing his face under your arm for a cuddle.
Ricky will clearly make some lucky person the most wonderful companion. Could that be you ?
