2/2/13 Such sad news about poor little Boo. She suddenly became seriously ill and had to be put to sleep. Sleep tight Boo. :(

Pretty little Boo first appeared on the Oldies Club back in December 2011, with one small mistake on her entry – at the time we were under the impression that she was a boy!
However, we have now been assured that this sweet little girl is indeed a girl and a very pretty one at that. She is a 10 year old Collie cross, who is on the small side for a collie (about 15” to the shoulder).
Boo originally arrived at The Ark due to her not getting along with the other dog in her home. At the time, she was very thin and her coat was in a poor condition. She has now put on weight and her coat is thick and lovely again, perfect for stroking!
Although Boo was said not to get along with other dogs at all, volunteers at the Ark say she is fine with some dogs and dislikes others. Her criteria for doggy friends is known only to her, but she would probably do best in a home where she is the only dog and can have all the attention she craves.
The people at the Ark are not sure why Boo continues to be overlooked as she really is a lovely little dog who will make a loyal and loving companion. She walks well on the lead, loves her walks and is still quite active for her age. A typical Collie cross, she absolutely loves playing with her ball!
Boo tends to be a little headshy when having her lead put on, but is fine once it is on and is ready for her walk! She can be a little shy and wary of strangers at first, but once she knows you, she is a sweet and loving girl who is ready to be a loyal friend. She has never shown any aggression meeting new people, but is just a little unsure at first.
Boo is not used to children and needs a home where she is the only dog. She is a lovely little dog who just need to find that right person who will fall in love with her and take her home. All she wants is for someone to love her. We hope that person will spot her and bring her home.
Boo is spayed, vaccinated and in good health. All she needs now is a loving home where she can spend the rest of her days.
