17/03/2016 Sadly Timber fell asleep in his kennel. Run free sweet Timber
This handsome GSD lad is Timber. He is around 7 years old and was sadly found as a stray and brought to the pound. Thankfully he was rescued by Cefni German Shepherd Rescue who hope to find this lovely boy a loving retirement home.
Timber is a big boy with a big heart and a lovely short chocolate brown and sable coat. He is very friendly and is sure to thrive in a loving home.
Timber is described as a very friendly, fun and cheeky boy who would love to have a nice garden and walks in wide open spaces where he can have a nice roam about. He can pull a little on the lead so will need patient, strong owners to help him with his walking manners.
As he has not been socialised with other dogs, Timber would so best as an only dog, although he is getting better with the other dogs at the kennel. He was a stray so nothing is known of his history with children, but he should be able to live with older kids (over 9-12 years old) who are used to large dogs. He cannot live with cats.
