Bilbo (Forest Of Dean Dog Rescue, fostered Gloucestershire)

18/12/17 – Bilbo has found a home! :)

Sweet little Bilbo hasn’t had an easy life. He came from a home where he was neglected, both physically and mentally, and he arrived in rescue in very poor health. He had to have surgery to remove several rotten teeth and numerous tumours, poor boy. Luckily he’s now safe and comfortable with Forest of Dean Dog Rescue and is being fostered in Gloucestershire.

Bilbo is 11 years old and he’s a super little dog. Now that he has no pain or discomfort he’s really flourishing and is a cheerful, outgoing little chap. He loves going for walks and meeting new people, and he gets on very well with other dogs.

Bilbo would be happy living in a multi-dog household as he enjoys being a pack member. He’ll need lots of attention from his new parents and would prefer a home where he’ll be allowed to sleep on their bed – he does have a lot of lost time to make up for after all!

Bilbo is an easy going and adaptable gentleman, but he would probably be happiest in a home with no young children.
