31/12/17 – Great news! Shadow and Cici have found a new home together and are settling well!

The RSPCA Liverpool Branch currently have two dear, elderly dogs in their care who came into rescue as cruelty cases. They would so much like to have a forever, retirement home together as they are brother and sister, but could they be rehomed separately if necessary.
Shadow and Cici are roughly 10+ years old and they are black/tan Crossbreeds. They have been with the RSPCA for quite a while and both have become firm favourites with the staff and volunteers. They are looking for a retirement home where they can enjoy the rest of their days in the comfort they deserve. They are two funny, loveable characters who have not let their past neglect change their friendly, fun-loving natures.
Shadow is young at heart and is very friendly and playful. He loves his daily walks, meeting new people and other dogs. He’s a bit of a foodie and loves his treats. Shadow is still very playful and enjoys his toys. He gets on well with other dogs and he has great dog manners. He knows lots of commands and can be left alone. Shadow can live with children of primary age and could possibly live with a cat.
Cici is very active and playful and loves playing with tennis balls. She too can be rehomed with children aged 7+ and other dogs. She loves going for walks, meeting new people and other dogs. She has great dog manners and it is truly a joy to see her and Shadow running around and having fun. Cici loves toys and games and walks nicely on the lead. She can be left alone and also could live with a friendly cat.
Shadow and Cici have a few health issues due to their age: stiffness in their legs due to arthritis and their ears will require regular cleaning. Cici is also a little deaf now. They are both neutered.
Shadow and Cici may be older in years, but they have so much love and experience to offer. They don’t want much, just to stay together in a home to call their own with family who will love and spoil them rotten.
