11/05/18 – Rehomed!
Meet the “Brindle Bros”! This adorable pair are Barney and Ringo and they are in search of a new home with the help of Rescue Remedies after they tragically lost their new mum, who they miss very much.
Both Barney and Ringo are Staffy crosses who are around 10 years old. They are not brothers in the literal sense, but they are as close as brothers and they need to stay together to offer each other support and love.
Barney was a resident of Rescue Remedies before being adopted by one of the volunteer walkers who fell totally in love with him. He joined Ringo in his new home and both had fantastic lives as well-loved and cared for companions. Sadly, however, their new mum died and now they both find themselves in kennels, broken-hearted and needing a new home. :(
Both of these boys were so loved by their mum and it’s so sad to see them in kennels. All they want is someone to love them and offer them a nice comfy home they can share for their retirement.
Despite their age, they both do love their walks and they are so affectionate with everyone they meet. They walk well with the other dogs at the centre too. And, did we mention, they are gorgeous brindly chaps!?!
Here’s what one of their walkers says about them:
“Barney and Ringo, what a lovely bonded pair. Beautiful inside and out. We spent some time in the paddock today before setting off on a walk. Both boys enjoyed their off lead time, running about!”
“Barney and Ringo are so affectionate, they both love to be stroked and are both very capable of sniffing out the treats in your pocket. We spent ages just cuddling these two boys and in return we got loads of Staffy kisses!. Ringo tired a little earlier than Barney, so Barney went out on a little social walk. He was very easy on the lead and lovely to walk. Back at the kennels, we found Ringo curled up asleep but he soon woke up, pleased to see Barney. Please consider this special pair. All they want is the love they are used to receiving, and a warm safe home.”
