12/1/18 – Pretty little Bee has gone to her new home!

Bee is a very loving, happy and waggy 9 year old Staffy girl who is in a Senior Staffy Club foster home in Gloucester. She was taken in by Senior Staffy Club after she was found by some children and taken to the pound.

Bee is a happy-go-lucky girl who loves people; she is a bit of a licking monster! She can live with children aged 10+ but she needs to be an only dog. It’s not known how she is with cats but she could be tested with them.

Bee amuses herself most of the time, and does love to tear up her teddies, but she’ll never touch anything of yours. She is beautifully behaved and listens to commands. She also likes to play and has loads of character.

Her foster mum sometimes takes Bee to see her horse, and Bee is excellent around the horse. She’s not a fan of the car, but perhaps she just needs some time to learn that it’s OK and that nothing horrible is going to happen to her.

She loves going out for walks, and will definitely let you know when it’s time to go! She’s very spritely for her age and can walk for 30-45 minutes twice a day. She walks very nicely on her lead except if she gets too close to a dog, when she gets a bit scared, so she needs to be the only dog in the home and not pass too close to other dogs when out walking.

She always asks to go out and is very clean in the home. She is quiet and doesn’t bark much, except if there’s someone at the door. She likes a routine and to cuddle up on the sofa with her foster carers. Bee is OK to be left for a little while, but she does love people so prefers not to be left for too long.

She recently had surgery on her eye, but coped very well with it, and with having drops in her eye, even though she didn’t much enjoy it!

Could you offer sweet Bee a new home?
