23/04/18 – Bertie has been adopted! Hooray!

Bertie is a 12-13 year old Miniature Poodle in the care of Leicester Animal Aid. He could live with another friendly dog and children from age 12. Bertie is not just a pretty face, he’s a bright boy and insists on telling you about himself in his own words…

“Hey, ‘Bertie Bus’ here, reliable, eager to please and very loving towards my owner. Don’t be fooled by those digits, I can move faster than you think and I am quite agile when I get playing!..

“Ok I may get a little distracted sometimes out of excitement so keeping me on the lead would be a good idea but in the home I’ll stay right by your side, in case I’m needed. I will be moving into my new home on a full medical cover due to a few health problems but don’t you worry, they don’t stop me from living my life to the full!

“I love to be on the road so we can book those holidays together and I’ll certainly help to navigate if I can…’Vroom, Vroom!’ Unlike a bus I do not have a horn or bell to ring so my vocal range comes into practice if I need to alert you of any visitors. I make friends instantly though, so you can get the tea and biscuits ready whilst I entertain and receive a sneaky neck massage!”
