19/9/18 – Betty and Pluto have found their new home!
——————–

Bonded pair Betty (chocolate girl to the left) and Pluto (yellow boy to the right) are 11-year-old Labradors who want to stay together always. They are the very best of friends so they need to be rehomed together. At the moment, this pair of beauties are being cared for at Dogs Trust Newbury.

Betty!
Pluto! (with Betty sneaking into the picture behind)

Pluto can be a bit of a worrier to begin with but once he is comfortable with you he is a sweetheart who loves have a fuss and to play. Betty is a lovely girl who also enjoys a fuss and a gentle stroll with Pluto tagging along behind her. Betty also loves toys, although she prefers a slow-running tennis ball to fetch, so don’t throw it too far please!

Betty and Pluto are older dogs who just want a quiet home where they can relax and enjoy passing their days peacefully in bed or with you giving them cuddles. They will thrive in a home with few visitors or neighbouring dogs who might give them a hard time.

Both of them have basic training and are willing to learn more. Once they settle, they can be left for a few hours a day, enjoying one another’s company.

Betty and Pluto think that the two of them will be enough dogginess for their new home. They could potentially live with teenage children.

These two have such a wonderful relationship that is a joy to see. And they make an absolutely gorgeous twosome! New owners will need to watch their diets however. They won’t get much activity and they love their food, so moderation is the best practise with them.

If you can’t resist these two lovelies and have room for them in your heart and home for them, call the number below for Dogs Trust Newbury to arrange a meeting:
