31/3/18 – Bully the gentle giant has found his new home!
Gorgeous, gentle giant Bully came to All Animals Rescue and Rehome when his owner surrendered him to the pound with a huge growth on his lip. As they said he was a wonderful dog, it’s assumed he was given up because of the cost of vet treatment.
Bully is 7 years old and is most likely an Old Tyme Bulldog Cross. As Bully arrived with a growth that rapidly grew, he was taken straight to the vets for a treatment plan. The tumour was removed and sent away for a biopsy. The lab report was positive that all the cancerous cells had been successfully removed and, although they can’t guarantee it won’t return, it’s highly likely not to, so this big lad beat cancer and will hopefully live out his remaining life happy and loved, just like he deserves. He was a super star throughout his treatment.
Bully is the most wonderful gentle giant who is full of love and just wants comfort and cuddles. His foster carer says he is the most obedient, loving lad she have ever had the pleasure to meet and foster. He is always on your lap wanting cuddles and attention and is always wanting to please. He is fantastic on and off the lead, travels well, and is happy to be left alone for short periods. He absolutely loves his food, walks and the bed and will happily snooze while you are out.
Due to his age and the life he has had so far, he is looking for a home where he can be the only dog and retire to the luxury of his own place. He will be fine with older, respectful children and is a really easy going lad who doesn’t ask for much but gives so much in return.
Bully is castrated, flea and wormed and microchipped. Anyone who adopts Bully is going to be very lucky to have him as part of their family; he really is the nanny dog, absolutely adorable with a kind, loving heart.
