Super cute little Doris is a 10 year old Jack Russell lady who finds herself looking for a quiet home where she will be adored with plenty of cuddles and sofa time (where she likes to hide her chews!). She is in the care of Leicester Animal Aid hoping to find an owner who realises little, older ladies deserve to be cherished.

Doris fancies herself as a bit of a “Doris Day”, a typical terrier diva with loads of character. She may be in her senior years, but don’t be fooled as she is sprightly and active with many years to look forward to. She enjoys nosing around with her head in the bushes seeking out any furry friends to chase, so she would probably be best suited to living as an only pet.

Doris would love to live with some teenage children and keep them on their toes, not forgetting a lovely owner who realises that more mature ladies deserve lots of attention with the odd holiday or adventure thrown in too.

Doris has a few age-related lumps and bumps which don’t bother her. Her eyesight may not be as sharp as it used to be but she doesn’t miss a thing. Leicester Animal Aid will help to take care of Doris’s future vet bills if needed.
