10/1/19 – Wonderful news for cuddle-loving Fred – he has found a new home and his new people found him on the Oldies Club website!
——————

The RSPCA Leybourne in Kent has a lovely, faithful Staffordshire Bull Terrier in their care who is not coping well in kennels and desperately needs to find his forever home. His previous owner had a job change meaning that he was being left for long periods of time.

Fred is a 10 year old brindle and white boy. He loves to have cuddles and enjoys a snooze on the sofa. He is a young boy at heart who is loving and enjoys human contact. He loves going for long walks, exploring new places and playing fetch. He also knows lots of commands.

Unfortunately Fred is unsure around other dogs; if they are calm and ignore him, he is fine but, if they are vocal, he can find them a bit much. Because of this, he is walked on a muzzle. This doesn’t bother him as he only associates the muzzle with positive experiences, such as walks.

Fred is looking for a quiet home with no other animals and where any children are over the age of 11 who understand that Fred wants peace and quiet. Fred doesn’t want much from his new family, just lots of comfy beds for his many naps and a nice sunny patch where he can sun himself.
