20/7/18 – Harvey has found a home!
——————–

Cute 8-year-old Harvey is a truly amazing gentleman who has been through a lot and now deserves to move into a loving forever home. He arrived at Stokenchurch Dog Rescue back in 2017 but sadly injured his back shortly afterwards, while pursuing his favourite game of chasing after a tennis ball.

With lots of TLC, rest, restricted walks and special exercises, Harvey is now ready and waiting to find his new forever home, and even through all of that, Harvey displays nothing but love and affection for the humans who helped getting him back on track.

During his long road to recovery, Harvey became a firm favourite with all the staff and volunteers who spent time with him while he was getting back to his former glory. He is a special boy who will be very missed when he goes off to his new home.

Harvey’s new owners need understand what he has been through and to ensure they monitor his exercise so that he doesn’t do anything silly when playing with his toys.

Harvey’s two favourite thing in the world are people and his toys – as long as he has that, he is happy.

However, Harvey will just tolerate other dogs. He will walk past them and sniff them, but he does not like it when other dogs enter his space, or get in his face. Therefore, he is looking for a pet free home (he doesn’t like cats either!). He can, however, live with children over 8.

Whoever decides to adopt Harvey is going to be adopting one of the most wonderful, loving dogs you could ever wish to meet.  He puts a smile on the face of everyone he meets.
