10/7/2018 Jasper is in his new home and his new owner says he is fitting in a treat, his little tail wags and he’s really happy. He loves cuddles and loves his senior food – he is eating well and will be spoilt.

Jasper is a slightly older gentleman of 13 and is a short-haired, white and tan Jack Russell Terrier. He finds himself in the care of the RSPCA Tameside and Glossop Branch which is so sad as he should be in his own, cosy home enjoying the retirement life at his age.

Jasper is seeking a soft, comfy sofa to enjoy his retirement and, of course, some human slaves to wait on him hand and foot while he watches daytime television. Humans must be able to endure loud snoring and sometime grumpy behaviour. A quiet retirement home would be perfect where there is someone at home most of the time and with a family without children or those over 12 years. Jasper can live with other dogs but does not extend any friendship to those pesky cats.

Due to lack of teeth (only 3 remaining), the human must be willing to provide soft food, ideally hand- delivered. In exchange for these services, you will be repaid with excellent house manners, impeccable lead behaviour and the odd grunt of thanks. Who can resist an offer like that?

Jasper has been neutered and has no known medical needs.
