31/05/18 – Lovely Julie has found a new home!

Sweet Julie has just arrived in the UK from Romania where she spent most of her life in a dismal shelter, waiting to be noticed. She is an 8 year old Labrador cross with the sweetest, shyest nature and who is just now learning to approach people for a fuss and cuddle. She is being cared for in a foster home by Safe Rescue.

Julie is a quiet, sweet girl who initially didn’t feel comfortable living in the home and would sleep outside. She learned quickly from the other dogs, however, and after just a couple of days began to enjoy the comfort and warmth of a home where she should have been all her life. This gentle girl would make the perfect companion for a retired person or couple who can offer her a peaceful quiet home where she can feel safe and loved.

Julie is still gaining confidence and will creep over to you for a fuss and a cuddle when she is invited to. She is learning to trust people now and to enjoy the attention she gets.

Julie gets along reasonably well with other dogs, but does not like feeling crowded by them. With her quiet, shy nature, she would do best in a home as an only dog or with one that is calm and quiet like herself. She would be fine with visiting children but ones living in the home will probably be too much for her to cope with.

Pretty Julie has so much to offer and deserves a loving home with people who will appreciate her gentle nature and will spend quiet time with her snuggling on the sofa or just being there for her when she she wants some cuddles.
