———————

Kai is an adorable 11 year old Terrier boy who is at Dogs Trust’s Harefield rehoming centre, in London, after his original owner passed away. He is a sweet, sensitive boy and is looking for a quiet, adult-only home with very few visitors.

Kai has become a favourite of one of Dogs Trust’s long-serving volunteers who cannot have a dog of her own as she works full time. She has taken Kai home with her several times and reports that Kai is very well-behaved in the home, quiet and relaxed. He is housetrained and he is also good in the car. He nudges your hand when he wants cuddles and tummy rubs. Kai is a very playful boy and he loves to play with toys and tennis balls. He also enjoys going out for a gentle potter. And, in true terrier style, he can be a bit stubborn!

Cute Kai finds coping with new people stressful and it makes him feel uncomfortable. But once he knows you (which may take several visits to Dogs Trust for his potential adopters) Kai is very sweet and affectionate. He would like owners who are around for most of the day, who have a private garden, and can take him for peaceful walks in places where there aren’t lots of dogs. He can walk on-lead next to a calm dog, but he doesn’t really like other dogs and needs to be your only pet.

Kai will be a loyal and loving boy for his new owner. He would like to get to know you gradually, so you will need to visit him at Dogs Trust a few times. Kai loves chicken and watching TV. Could you oblige?
