27/3/18 – Pero has been rehomed!
This cutie with the irresistible greying face is Patterdale Terrier Pero who would love to serenade you with his happy song, which he will happily perform in your honour when you take him home! Pero is 9 years old and was recently returned to Rescue Remedies after five years, when a new baby moved into the home. Kennels are no place for this old gent, so he hopes to charm his way into a loving, warm home!
Pero is a true terrier. He loves to sniff everyone and everything in case there is a hint of a mouse or rabbit he can chase! He also loves a good scratch and cuddles from his humans. Pero is responsive and eager to please; he walks beautifully on the lead and will sit nicely for his beloved treats. And he is a joy to walk!
Pero acts like a much younger dog despite his 9 years. He enjoys longer walks, although he does sometimes like to take a little rest in the middle! And he is happy to empty your treat bag and knows just how to look at you with those lovely longing eyes so you can’t resist giving him what he wants.
And of course there is the ‘happy song.’ This is a real treat to hear because it is so cute and because you know that you are the one who is making this sweet boy so happy!
