19/7/18 – Rica has been adopted!

Poor Rica spent many years in the harsh environment of a public shelter in Romania and as a result is a frightened little soul in desperate need of TLC. Luckily Rica is now in the care of a Safe Rescue foster home in Norwich, but she needs a quiet forever home as soon as possible.
Rica is a medium sized crossbreed believed to be around 7-8 years old. This sweet little girl wears her heart on her paw and you only have to look at her face to see the troubles of her past. She is desperate to be loved and afraid of being hit in pretty much equal measures, and it has taken a while to lead train her because of her fear of the outside world. She’s a very submissive girl who will cower when you approach, but will enjoy a cuddle and a kiss once she’s made contact with you.
In a relaxed, quiet household where there isn’t too much coming and going, Rica will really blossom. She would enjoy being an only dog where she can get one to one attention from her new family, but she may settle with another laid back canine companion who will help her to relax.
