18/7/18 – Riley has found a home
Hi everyone! My name’s Riley and I’m an eight year old Shar Pei. I did have a lovely home, but my owner has sadly passed away so now I’m in the care of National Animal Welfare Trust, in Great Shefford, Berkshire.
I love going for walks here at the rescue centre, and investigating all the exciting smells. I’ll occasionally have a good trot around in the dog exercise run too. It’s all good fun!
Being a Shar Pei I like to have all the attention to myself, so I’d be really happy if I could be your only pet. I promise I’ll be a very loyal companion and I’ll share lots of fuss and cuddles with you.
Once I’ve settled in, I won’t mind if you leave me home alone for a while. Just give me a comfy bed and I’ll happily snooze for a few hours until you come home.
I think I’d be content living with an older family, with children aged 12 years and above, and although I enjoy my walks I don’t need huge amounts of exercise.
