Please meet Ronnie, a very dear, older boy despite having been rescued from terrible, outdoor living conditions. He is looking for a quiet home with people who have experience of large bull breed dogs and is in the safe care of the RSCA West Hatch in Taunton until the loving home he deserves comes along.

Ronnie is an 8 year old, young at heart, brindle and white American Bulldog who just wants affection and cuddles. He came to the West Hatch Centre from another Centre and arrived underweight and suffering from pressure sores.

Having been denied regular meals, Ronnie is now understandably always looking for where the next meal is coming from. A consistent feeding regime should reassure Ronnie that he does not have to worry about food, but his new family will need to have the patience to help him with this.

Ronnie might be strong, but he tires quickly on short walks and requires gentle exercise to build up his strength and stamina. Whilst Ronnie is sociable with other dogs, he would prefer to be the only pet in the home so that he can get all the attention he craves and also to help him adjust to living in a conventional home. He would prefer an adult-only home and knows lots of commands. He loves his treats and food of course. Ronnie has been neutered.

Below is a video of Ronnie which contains some upsetting images:
