06/09/18 – Sandy has been adopted! Hooray!

Sturdy girl Sandy is an 11 year old Crossbreed with some Staffy in her and a lot of cuddle monster! She’s in the care of Foal Farm Animal Rescue in Biggin Hill, Kent. She’s enjoying the Summer holidays in foster with a family but might have to go back into kennels afterwards, if her new human doesn’t find her soon!

Sandy is an affectionate lady who tries her best to be a lapdog. This is an extremely cosy experience as she’s a pretty solid girl. Her new people must be happy getting squashed!

She can live with other dogs as well as children, being a cheerful and friendly girl. That friendliness doesn’t stretch to cats though. Her foster carer says she’s no trouble at all and that she gets really excited when lullabies are sung to the kids!

Sandy’s only foible so far has been that her foster has to hoover round her when she’s asleep. She’d be best suited to a settled home where her naps will be undisturbed but where she still goes on gentle walks. Also, she does need her lap time!
