30/9/18 – Winston has found a home
Olde Tyme Bulldog mix Winston is the most lovable and affectionate boy you could ever hope to meet. He adores people with every molecule of his furry body! This 9-year-old boy comes to you courtesy of Stokenchurch Dog Rescue and is all set to move in with his lucky new family.
Winston is a sociable boy who loves being the centre of attention. One of his favourite things is to lean up against you for a bottom scratch and his paws pad up and down in ecstasy as you give him a nice good scratching.
Winston is a larger boy but when he plays and interacts with you he is so gentle and sweet. He would like a nice big garden to play and run around in. His recall is not the best and if he chooses to not do something, he can take a lot of persuading.
Winston is selective about other dogs he likes or dislikes. His owners should provide him with plenty of space so he doesn’t get into a situation where he is uncomfortable. From a distance, he will generally ignore other dogs. He will need to be the only dog in the home and his owners should keep him muzzled while he is out. He can live with children over 8.
Winston would like to keep his same grain-free diet and due to his breed, he has those adorable face folds that need to be cleaned out as well as his ears to keep him comfortable.
A home with people who are experienced with dogs would suit Winston just fine as long as he gets lots of love and attention. Can you open your heart and home to this lovely, affectionate and comical boy?
