28/12/18 – Xena has found a home!
——————–

Sadly, Xena has been in kennels for a while now and it seems to be due to her age although she still is an active lady. She was chipped in 1999 but the vet thinks she is more along the lines of 10+ years old. She is looking for a cosy retirement home with the help of the RSPCA Lancashire East Branch.

Xena is a sweet-natured Akita lady who is desperately looking for a special human. She has spent quite a bit of time in kennels and, luckily, someone was found to foster her to relieve the stress of kennel life. She still has a lot of life in her and loves to potter about in the garden.

Xena could be deaf or it could be that she just has selective hearing but, when you see that cheeky face, you will forget all about it. Xena has lived with another dog and may be fine to live with a calm, laid-back natured dog whom she can curl up with. There should be no children or cats which has nothing to do with her being too over the top, it’s just felt she needs a calm and quiet life.

There is a special someone out there to adopt this beautiful girl and who will come along and allow her to spend whatever time she has left in a home and not a kennel. Could this be you?
