19/9/2019 Cute little Eddie has found his forever home.

Little Eddie is a 14-year-old Jack Russell Terrier who is with Wonky Pets Rescue, in a foster home in South Derbyshire.
Eddie is a sweet little gent, a quiet, unassuming boy who has had a pretty tough life and tries to keep himself out of harm’s way. Eddie loves nothing more than a gentle fuss and a really good walk before settling down in his bed for a snooze under his blanket.
Eddie is good with small dogs, but sadly his past has involved him being attacked by large dogs, which has made him defensive with dogs larger than himself and when on the lead. He is absolutely fine once off the lead with dogs he knows. He shared a foster home with chihuahuas and a pug and he got along great with them, but he would be best rehomed either as the only dog or with a friendly, quiet dog who is smaller than Eddie (he weighs around 9kg). He hasn’t lived with cats previously and will bark at them. As Eddie prefers a quieter life nowadays, he needs a home where any resident children are aged 12 plus. He would be OK with younger visiting grandchildren who are respectful.
Eddie really enjoys his food and he doesn’t like other dogs approaching his bowl, but this is easily managed by feeding him away from other dogs. He travels absolutely fine in the car and is clean and well-behaved in the house. He loves company but would be OK to be left alone for a few hours. He will sleep downstairs quietly at night.
He is neutered, vaccinated, microchipped, flea and worm treated, and will be rehomed with 5 weeks free pet insurance. Eddie has also recently had a dental and had a number of teeth out, but he still manages to eat well. He has had treatment to remove a wart from the top of his head. Other than that he has a clean bill of health.
Eddie is a gorgeous boy who deserves a chance of happiness. Could you offer him a loving home?
