26/5/19 – George is in foster with a view to adoption!

George is a Terrier Cross, aged over 10, who arrived in rescue with his companion Mildred. He is in a foster home with Jerry Green Dog Rescue in Boston, Lincolnshire. The decision has been made to rehome George and Mildred separately as in foster they don’t seem to do well together and it seems they would be happier apart.

George is looking for a retirement home where he will be your only pet. He’d love to spend time snuggled up on a comfy sofa with you. He doesn’t need a huge amount of exercise and he enjoys spending time pottering about in the garden.

George could potentially live with children aged 12 and above, subject to a successful meeting at the rescue, and as long as the children are happy to give George his own space.

George is not quite housetrained, so further encouragement and praise when he ‘goes’ outside will be needed. He is happy to travel in vehicles and be left on his own for short periods of time.

George has arthritis in his back end and is on ongoing pain medication for this, which he is doing well on.

Could George be your new little friend?
