Gilbert (Leicester Animal Aid)

This is kind and loving Gilbert, also known as “Gilbert Grape”, and he is an 11 year old Staffordshire Bull Terrier with a heart of gold. He is being rehomed by Leicester Animal Aid and can’t wait to show you just what a sweetheart he is.

Gilbert may be a little older and greyer, but there is still a lot of life left in him. He doesn’t need long walks but is always ready to be on hand for all those cuddles, playtime and a shoulder to cry on – a typical people-loving Staffie.

Gilbert is happy to travel and loves his outings and going on holiday, always ready to dip his paws in the sea or practice a little sunbathing. When it comes to other animals, Gilbert prefers his own company and keep his main focus on building a happy relationship with his family. He may not be too interested in toys these days, but he is still enthusiastic enough to give you a run around in the garden, especially those teenagers trying to catch him.
