9/5/2019 It has been decided that Harry should stay with his foster carer for the rest of his life, so he won’t be looking for a new home now and is happy to carry on enjoying life where he is.

Dear old gentleman, Harry, is hoping that someone will look past his age and give him a cosy, loving home – adoptive or long-term foster would be considered – for the rest of his days. He’s currently being looked after by Romanian Rescue Appeal and is comfy in a foster home in Devon. His carer feels he shouldn’t travel too far and that he needs a home local to Devon/South West only please.

Harry is 14 years old (born 25.12.2004) and he is an entire, tan male, who is possibly a mix with some Labrador or Shar-Pei thrown in. He is used to living with other dogs but needs his own space as he can be a bit of a grumpy old man, so he would also be fine on his own. He would probably be best without children and has not been cat tested.

Harry came from Romania and has settled in very well considering that the whole world he knew for so long has completely changed. His foster carer says:
“Harry is lovely. He just sleeps, eats and goes for a very slow potter around the local park each day with another old boy. I hope there is someone who could help him enjoy his last few years. He just needs warmth, good food and a stroll in the fields or park. Harry will reward you with gratitude and affection.”

Harry has not been neutered due to his age as the vet thinks it would be too risky. He has no known medical needs.
