Rex is a lovely 12-year-old Crossbeed boy who has had a sad time. He is being rehomed by RSPCA Macclesfield SE Cheshire & Buxton Branch but is kennelled at RSPCA Chesterfield in Derbyshire.

Gorgeous boy Rex is a very friendly dog, and although he is an older gent he still has a real spark and will make a lovely friend for his new owner. He’d like to be your only dog but could live with older children.

It’s so sad to see an older dog like Rex in a kennel, especially as his previous owners weren’t looking after him properly. He was kept in a flat and not walked, and he was not fed well either which resulted in a lot of weight loss. Unfortunately they had learning difficulties and had acquired Rex because his owner had died. A very sad tale indeed.

So now Rex is looking for a home with kind people, where he will be loved, cared for and happy once again.

Could you help Rex?
