Shankly (Freshfields Animal Rescue, Liverpool)

Shankly is an 8-year-old Patterdale Terrier who is at Freshfields Animal Rescue in Liverpool.

Handsome Shankly was originally at Freshfields in 2016 due to the arrival of a baby in his home, but then his family felt they had made a mistake and so Freshfields allowed them to take him back. Sadly though, Shankly has found himself at Freshfields once again, this time due to a change in his owner’s work hours.

Shankly is a sweet, sociable boy who is still very active and he thoroughly enjoys walkies and playing with toys. He has mixed well with other dogs in the past but it’s not yet certain that he would be able to live with them. He does not like cats. He is best suited to a home with older children, over the age of 12.

Shankly is clean and non-destructive in the home and is okay to be left alone for a couple of hours. He has seen Freshfields’ vet and is in good health but currently requires ear drops.

He is a fun, friendly little chap who will fit well into most homes.

Could you offer Shankly a new home?
