25/6/19 – Lovely Victor has found a new home – wonderful news for this gorgeous old chap who was very sad in kennels

Victor is an adorable 12-year-old brindle Staffy boy who arrived at Derby & District RSPCA due to his owner’s work hours changing.

He is an absolutely beautiful dog but sadly he gets overlooked with being an older boy. He appears to be in good health other than having a few age-related lumps and bumps. Victor is a really lovable dog who, in typical staffy fashion, loves to be in the company of people. He’s a chilled-out boy who will really enjoy a home where he can have a little potter around the garden and then have a peaceful sleep – preferably on a nice sofa! It is such a terrible shame for him to be in kennels and have had no interest. As you can see he does enjoy being snuggled up and he must be really missing his home comforts.

Victor needs to be your only dog as he likes his own personal space and doesn’t like other dogs to invade that space, but he will walk past calm dogs with very little acknowledgement. He walks beautifully on his lead and is so placid and chilled about life. He is an affectionate boy but does also enjoy his own company.

He would like his new owners to have a fairly quiet home, with a garden for him to lounge about in if he doesn’t fancy a walk on a particular day. He likes to rest and can’t keep up with youngsters now, so he needs a home without children.

Could you offer beautiful Victor the loving home he so deserves?
