9/9/19 – Winston has found a new home at last!
——————-

Winston is a medium to large sized Crossbreed boy of 10-11 years, in the care of Love Underdogs in Waltham Abbey, Essex. Nobody knows why he’s been overlooked for months because he’s an easy-going, happy chap with oodles of love to give!

Winston is good with most other dogs. He much prefers the ladies and he would only want to live with female dogs if he shares his retirement home. He would need to meet them at the rescue first, to charm them. Or he’d be happy as an only pet. Cats are not his cup of tea.

Winston is looking for an adult only home, simply because he wants a quiet retirement home. He’s a really friendly boy who readily accepts cuddles and fuss, especially belly rubs!

He doesn’t need much exercise as he has dislocating knees. An orthopaedic surgeon has assessed him and decided he doesn’t need anything done since his mobility is very good. He zooms around with the other dogs at the rescue like a good ‘un. Apart from occasional zoomies, he’s more of a sitter and thinker than a natural athlete.

He particularly likes getting up on things for a higher perspective on life.

Love Underdogs liken him to a wise old sailor who’s seen the world and is now content. Of course, he’ll be even happier to have his own home and people to love!

As well as being wise, Winston is very good indeed! He knows basic commands and, being a treat-oriented boy, he’ll gladly learn new things, if you make it worth his while.

Winston is the perfect mix of fun, affection and being easy to live with. Not to mention being rather handsome…

…winsome…

…and philosophical.
