26/8/20 – Chico and Crystal have found a new home!

Chico and Crystal are a pair of adorable, cute oldies looking for a retirement home together. They came into the care of Teckels Animal Sanctuaries in Gloucesterhire through no fault of their own and now would love to have a caring, forever place to call home.
Chico and Crystal are 9 year old Yorkshire Terrier/Chihuahua Crosses. The pair are a real favourite of the staff who would love to see them relaxing in their forever home and getting plenty of TLC.
Chico is a cheeky chap who still enjoys little potters around, whereas Crystal is a bit shyer and will take longer to get to know new people. They very much enjoy cuddles once they know you and would like somewhere quiet with minimal visitors.
Chico has recently had to have his teeth removed and so will need to be kept on soft food. Crystal suffers with sore hips and needs on-going pain relief to keep her comfortable, and also not to allow her to put on weight. They have both been neutered.
They are not keen on other dogs or cats, so will need to be the only pets in the home. Anyone interested in adopting this adorable pair are asked to visit the centre at least twice to meet them, including all members of the family.
