Clarissa was a sweet, shy and trembling girl when Safe Rescue met her on a trip to a Romanian public shelter; they couldn’t resist helping this little girl so desperate to be invisible to hem. She would like a quiet home with someone who can give her the time and patience to further build her confidence.
Clarissa is a 7 year old Crossbreed about the size and stature of a small Whippet. Her arrival in the U.K. was initially a very scary experience as she found herself around people all the time, but it gave her the opportunity to realise that people could be close by and not hurt her.
Clarissa is such a sweet girl who is gradually growing in confidence but she still has a way to go. She is now enjoying her walks and walks nicely on the lead. She is losing the frightened and haunted look she arrived with as she begins to relax and accept her new life style away from fear and hardship.
Clarissa is accepting fuss more, although she won’t seek it out yet and is more willing to have her lead put on now she knows it’s for a good reason. She still needs some house-training, although this has improved with a better routine.
Clarissa hasn’t particularly bonded with any of the dogs she lives with, so she could live with or without another dog. She is vaccinated, microchipped and neutered.
